A Good 18th Century Flintlock Silver Mounted Musketoon/Coaching Carbine by Griffin & Tow, London, the 60cm browned steel swamped barrel signed on the rib, with London proof marks, Board of Ordnance marks and gold lined touch hole, with foliate chased and engraved tang, the lock plate signed and engraved with leaves, slide safety, the the well figured walnut full stock with silver furniture of two ramrod pipes, foliate engraved trigger guard with acorn finial, butt plate with engraved tang, vacant escutcheon and side plate worked as a martial trophy, with hallmarks for London 1773, maker`s mark I.K (possibly for John King), and with a horn tipped wood ramrod, 100cm long overall.
