A 19th Century Swiss Keywind Cylinder Musical Box retailed by Ball, Beavon & Co., London, the 14cm brass cylinder and single steel comb movement playing four airs, the base plate stamped B.B.&Ci., and numbered 9790, the walnut case of plain rectangular form, with ivory shield shaped lock escutcheon, and apertures to the side for winding, stop/start, change/repeat and emergency stop levers, length 26.5cm.
