A Victorian Coromandel Travelling Vanity Case, containing silver mounted glass and ivory accoutrements, by William Leuchars, London 1881, rectangular, the lid inlaid with a cursive brass complex monogram, opening to reveal a fully fitted interior with hinged side cabinets, abbatant lid and interior drawers, comprising fourteen vessels including those for soap, powder, scent, mantel clock, five piece ivory hair set, "light" match box, wax seal, pen, and twenty-one other small implements including medicine spoon, compass, barometer, tape measure, cork screw, ear scoop, nail buff, and buttons hooks, with a mirror to the lid underside, 41cm wide (case damaged) See illustration
