18th century, the composite slide pierced and carved on one end with a dragon, the other with foliage and joined by a silver sheath and with a silver dragon-engraved support,

We believe the smaller floral section of jade to be of earlier date than the larger dragon carved section. The silver mounts may be disguising flaws and possibly a join, but have not been removed to confirm. No obvious other faults.
