A silver trophy in the form of the streamlined MG record car, by Wilmot Manufacturing Co., Birmingham, 1938, with enamelled MG badge and union jacks, the wooden base bearing a plaque with the inscription 'Presented by Viscount Nuffield. Major AT Goldie Gardner MC in commemoration of his record speed 186.6 miles per hour on his 1086cc 'MG' 9 XI.38', 19.8cm

CONDITION REPORT:
Enamel appears good wheels/tyres and other areas worn. Copper colour. Silver discoloured Oxidised screws. Copper, top labels, edges and corners rubbed. It might appear that Goldies's car was hold and that this throphy was gilded and over the years has worn off.
