A carved ivory silver plated desk seal, the ivory cherub with a carved fabric draped head and shoulders, half length, to a tapering stand decorated with carved strapwork, quatrafoils and acanthus leaves (repair), the circular silver plated base decorated with rows of beadwork, a Greek key band and gadroon border to a blind base, 110mm in length, together with an ivory and silver gilt desk seal, the carved ivory pommel form handle to a lotus leaf mount with a bead band. The scalloped base with a rope edge border and an oval cornelian tablet seal engraved with a coat of arms and motto, the arms of M’ANDREW of London recorded in 1785, 95mm in length (2)
