A late Victorian diamond and enamel sword hat pin, 180mm long. Based on an American infantry officer`s sword. A naturalistic eagle head pommel with royal blue enamel diagonal banded grip, set with banks of old Swiss cut diamonds. The hilt decorated with the American Eagle holding arrows and an olive branch in its talons, to a royal blue enamel ground, with an enamel and diamond set hilt. Tested as approx. 15ct gold
