An Arts & Crafts ring, by Bernard Instone, c. 1925, with centre oval cabochon chalcedony to a rectangular head, with an oval faceted amethyst to each corner and split pearl top and bottom, one deficient, applied gold bead work, scrolls and wheatear at each shoulder, marked silver and BI makers mark, finger size L Bernhard Instone 1891-1987 studied both in Great Britain and Germany, working with John Paul Cooper and later supplying pieces to Sybil Dunlop and by the 1940s Liberty & Co.
