For more information please view Terms and Conditions for Buyers. SRN: Henry Mowbray Cadell was born on 14 September 1831 in Edinburgh and received a classical and mathematical education at the Edinburgh Academy and Stoton & Mayor, Wimbledon. Passed Cadet on 29 November 1848, he was appointed Second Lieutenant in the Bengal Artillery on 13 June 1851, advanced Lieutenant, 20 November 1856. He served in the Mutiny attached to the No. 1 Light Field Battery. Advanced Second Captain on 21 April 1860 he retired on 25 June 1866.
