1839 (20 Nov.) entire letter from Norfolk, Virginia, care of Middleton & Co., New York to "Heron Bay Bermuda", a small town north of Southampton, rated "25" U.S. internal and "5" Bermuda internal and showing despatch datestamp, two "paid" handstamps and with forwarding agents cachet in reverse, all in red.
