1875 (23 Dec.) septuple rate official envelope (268x113mm.) from Hamilton "To the Judges of the Supreme Courts of New Jersey at Trenton in the State of New Jersey" and marked at left "Deposited in the letter-bag of the Steamer Canima, now lying at the port of Hamilton, and bound to the port of New York" and signed by the Commissioner, C.H. Allen, tied with magenta ribbon and with red wax seals with initials "b.c", per Quebec Canima to New York and showing "Due" handstamp completed for "35c" (7 x 5c. per ½oz. rate) and with two "n. york/steamship" datestamps at foot.
