Bidding instructions:
- Select the lot you would like to bid on and place a bid equal to a minimum bid or a higher bid. Please follow biding increments as per par. 4 of the Terms and Conditions for Buyers (Timed Auctions).
- You could also place your maximum bid and we will bid on your behalf increasing the price in increments to keep you in the lead up to your maximum bid.
- Should your bid be outbid you will receive an email notification which will give you an option to increase your bid before the closing time.
- Closing time of the first lot of this sale is stated in the Auction Details. The subsequent lots will close at 30 second intervals.
- If a bid is placed within the last 5 minutes of a closing time of a lot, an additional 5 minutes will be added to the closing time before the lot closes and bidding is no longer available on this lot.
- Please note all bids and any changes must be made online by the client only.
- The highest bid at the closing time will be the successful bid and the price will be the hammer price.
- All lots sold in the timed auction are subject to charges per section 5 and all clauses of the Terms and Conditions for Buyers (Timed Auctions).
- Invoices will be emailed to buyers after the last lot in the timed auction has closed. Invoice total will consist of hammer price, buyer’s premium of 20% on hammer price, a processing fee of 3% on hammer price, VAT where applicable and postage. A fee for paying by credit card and debit card issued by foreign bank will be added.
- Payments should be made in Sterling within 5 working days from the date of closing the timed auction. Credit terms do not apply for timed auctions.
