A Charles II silver tankard, maker's mark TH crowned (Jackson p128), London, 1678, later hound's head crested and script initials EAC above chased acanthus leaf strap, domed cover with a further acanthus leaf, conjoined dolphin thumbpiece and handled with traces of pricked initials, underside with initials WdeE 1868, also inscribed AC 28=2, 17cm, 7in high, 856gr, 27oz 11dwt.
