A set of four small silver-gilt tastevins (wine-tasting dishes) with thumb-plate handles and two smaller silver-gilt dishes with looped-handles. Of the four thumb-plate dishes (3.33 inch diameter), each with circular inverse-relief and relief ornament, oblong inverse-relief ornaments, inverse domed-bottom, loop-handled thumb-plates, and five-point star marking on thumb-plate. Of the two smaller loop-handled tastevins (wine-tasting dishes) (2.5 inch diameter), each with circular inverse-relief and relief ornament, oblong inverse-relief ornaments, inverse domed-bottom, horizontal loop-handles, and two markings verso. Lots will be viewable from February 17th 2022 until 11am on February 24th 2022 at our Lower Sloane Street Auction galleries (69 Lower Sloane Street, London, SW1W 8DA). The auction will be held close-by at 12:00pm GMT at the iconic Sir Christopher Wren building, Wren House, The Royal Hospital.
