This is a live breast cast made from plaster of paris of Bianca Carpenter.
Bianca says, ""I`m Bianca, I`m a healthy 27 year old who eats well and runs 3 times a week as I enjoy taking part in running events such as half marathons and of course the race for life which myself and my mum enter every year. I found a lump in my left breast in July and on August 13th 2014 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Rather than feel sorry for myself and sad I`ve decided to be as positive and upbeat as I can. I`ve chosen to have a cast of my breasts done to help promote awareness of breast cancer in young women and to get it out there that women need to be checking their breasts what ever age they are. So let`s raise money as well as awareness and kick cancers butt together.
Bianca`s cast was decorated by artist Keri Bird,
""The idea behind the art on Bianca`s cast, is that the art signifies a white swan.
For me, a white swan has the following meaning which I find really poignant:
? LOVE - It sometimes takes something so tragic to happen in our lives to realise how loved we are, and how much we love others. Since Bianca`s diagnosis I have seen the love and support so many people have shown her.
? BEAUTY - Bianca is a beautiful, young 27 year old whose life has been turned upside down at such a young age. Her strength and positivity at such a difficult time, has demonstrated to me what a beautiful person she is on the inside, and out. The Simply The Breast project has also been a way to show that we are all different shapes and sizes, and no matter what, you are still beautiful.
? ELEGANCE - Bianca has carried herself with such elegance through this difficult time in her life. She has continued to smile, stay strong and has been so willing and open to share her journey with others, to help raise awareness of Breast Cancer in young people"".

The Simply the Breast Online Timed Charity Auction will start at
10am (GMT) on Saturday 1st November 2014 and bidding will close from 8pm on Sunday 16th November 2014.
On all lots bidding will close in 30 second intervals. If a bid is made on a lot immediately before the lot closes, the bidding on that particular lot will remain open for another 2 minutes. If no further bids are received after 2 minutes, the lot will close. However if further bids are received on that lot, then it will remain open, in 2 minute intervals, until no further bids are received.

Those wishing to bid for any of these lots must first register on the-saleroom.com website and then register for the STB Online Timed Charity Auction. Details of all lots, help with ‘How to Bid’ together with Terms and Conditions for the timed online auction will be available at www.the-saleroom.com
The STB Online Timed Charity Auction will start at:
10.01am (GMT) on Saturday 1st November and bidding will close from 8pm on Sunday 16th November 2014.
