Important Information
We are pleased to announce that we can now have bidders in the room on the day of the auction
We will open from 9am for viewing until the start of the auction at 10 am
Or you may choose to bid online from the comfort of your home
We are open to the public for viewings on the Tuesday prior to the sale from 2pm until 7pm
And on the morning of the sale from 9am until 10am
Attendees will be permitted to remove smaller items purchased on the day
Heavy items or furniture may be collected from on the Friday or Saturday after the sale
Online or absentee bidders must call the office to arrange a suitable time for collection of items successfully purchased
Invoices will be sent to winning bidders by email at the end of the auction day or the following morning

Online Bidding
In completing the bidder registration on www.the-saleroom.com and providing your debit card details and unless alternative arrangements are agreed with Shouler and Son:
NB. Shouler and Son DO NOT charge the debit card from details given to the-saleroom.com
An invoice will be sent for items successfully purchased in the auction via email after the sale
for which the buyer will be expected to make payment on receipt either by bank transfer or payment with a debit card by telephone
Please note that any lots purchased via the-saleroom.com live auction service will be subject to an additional 4.95% commission charge + VAT at the rate imposed on the hammer price
Buyers Premium and VAT
a.The buyer must pay to us, a buyer's premium of 15% (together with VAT thereon) in addition to the hammer price, unless otherwise announced.
b.When announced VAT is payable on the goods in addition to the hammer price.
c.The hammer price means the price at which the lot is knocked down to the buyer.
d.All references to purchase price elsewhere in these conditions are deemed to include any Buyer's Premium and Value Added Tax.
