A silver mounted & painted porcelain plaque, 19th century. The porcelain plaque possibly of Berlin manufacture. Depicting ‘Virgin Mary & Baby Jesus’ painted in polychrome. The silver frame of Eastern European, orthodox influence, with floral & leaf border and leaf adorned cross to the crest. The frame has been later adapted, the rear of the frame with plaster filling. max diam 20cm.
