A late Victorian carved oak cabinet on stand, elaborately decorated throughout with turquoise, mother of pearl, ivory, ebony, bloodstone, blue lace agate, the stepped cornice with foliate relief carved frieze, over two cupboard doors and three drawers, the base with gadrooned edge, two drawer frieze and raised on tapering square section supports, (applied with silver plated plaque of provenance, designed by Henry Mitchell jr and assisted by Mr Edwin Joyce, began in 1888 and finished 1893).
