1955 Wolseley 4/44

Reg. No.: VTB 518

Chassis no. tba

Engine No.: 19306

The Wolseley 4/44 was originally designed under the Nuffield Organisation but by the time it was released in 1953 Wolseley was part of BMC. Much of the design was shared with the MG Magnette ZA that came out later in the same year. Unlike the MG, the 4/44 used the 1250cc XPAW engine a version of the XPAG engine. This car was restored in 1996 by Hollybush Motors at a cost of over £8,000. The interior in particular has been restored to a high standard. There is a file of paperwork with this car including bills for work carried out. Still in good condition throughout, this car is MOT’d until June.
