Bremont. A rare limited edition stainless steel diver’s wristwatch made for members of The Royal Household for the Coronation of King Charles III, ref. S500 Supermarine, circa 2023. Movement: cal. BE-36AE, automatic, antimagnetic, 25 jewels. Dial: dark blue, applied Arabic and baton indexes, apertures for day (in French & English) and date, King Charles cypher at 6 o’clock. Case: stainless steel, DLC treated case barrel, screw-down back with the Royal Standard, rotating calibrated bezel, gas escape value, dark blue rubber strap with stainless steel buckle. Signed: case, dial, movement and buckle. Dimensions: diameter 43mm. Accessories: warranty card, ISO 3159 certificate, instructions booklet, Nato strap, strap tool and presentation case. £4,000-£7,000 --- The Bremont Supermarine S500 ‘Coronation’ watch was commissioned by The Royal Mews, a division of The Royal Household, based at Buckingham Palace. This was in order to mark the occasion of the crowning of His Majesty King Charles III on 6 May 2023. The watch was limited to a production run of 50, with pieces only available to those working for, or closely associated with, The Royal Household. The dial displays the King’s cypher and the darkened 8 o’clock baton is in acknowledgement of the day Charles acceded to the throne on his mother’s death on 8 September 2022, with the case back depicting the Royal Standard. Bremont is an award-winning luxury watch brand based in Henley-on-Thames, England. Founded by brothers Nick and Giles English in 2002, they produce watches inspired by their love of flying and based on the ideals of British watchmaking. All their watches are either COSC or ISO chronometer rated and hand built in the UK. Condition Report Movement: running at the time of cataloguing, date advancing correctly. Dial: in excellent condition. Case: in excellent condition. Gross weight: 140gms. Please note that the above condition report is a statement of opinion only and may not specify all mechanical replacements or imperfections. Watches are opened to examine the movements, no warranties are made that the watches are water-resistant. The watch has not been tested for the accuracy of its time keeping and would benefit from a service at the buyer’s expense.

General delivery information available from the auctioneer

If you are successful in purchasing lot/s being auctioned by us and opt for the item/s to be sent to you, we will use the following methods of shipment:

Within the UK
If you live within the UK, items will be despatched using Royal Mail Special Delivery. This service provides parcel tracking (via the Royal Mail website) and next weekday delivery (betwen 9am and 1pm). Items delivered within the UK are covered by our insurance company. Heavy and bulky lots will be sent by courier, in discussion with the client.

Outside of the UK
If the item/s being sent are worth under £1000 in total they are sent using Royal Mail’s Signed For International service. This ensures the item must be signed for when it is delivered.
If the item/s being sent are valued at over £1000 in total they will be sent using FedEx. This service allows next day delivery to customers in many parts of the US and parcels are fully trackable using the FedEx website.

Shipping Exceptions
Certain lots such as those containing glass or sharp implements, etc., may not be suitable for in-house shipping within or outside of the UK. Please contact Noonans with any queries.
