Title artwork from the 1954 epic drama ''The Egyptian'' produced by Darryl Zanuck and Directed by Michael Curtiz. This artwork, measuring a large 46'' x 23.5'', was used in the ''Produced by'' and ''Directed by'' credits for the movie in the opening sequence. Interestingly, Marilyn Monroe badly wanted to star in the lead as ''Nefer'', but the role went to Bella Darvi, Darryl Zanuck's mistress. Art is framed to an overall size of 50'' x 27.5''. Very light dampstaining and scuffing, not visible without close inspection. Overall near fine condition.
