Charles Schulz hand drawn sketch of his ''Peanuts'' character Lucy. Schulz drew the piece at the Minneapolis School of Art in 1955 when he was living in Minneapolis, just 5 years after the first publication of the ''Peanuts'' strip. Composed on newsprint in felt tip pen, drawing measures 18'' x 24''. Two closed tears of approximately 1'' to margin, and some chipping to margin. Matted to board measuring 22'' x 28''. Very good condition. An extremely large and rare drawing from the 1950s.
