The poetic sub-headline reads, ''…tearful multitudes accompanied the martial pageant in escort…'' McKinley, shot on September 6 at a Buffalo event, lingered until the 14th when his death occurred and Vice President Theodore Roosevelt ascended to the Presidency. Other articles cover proceedings against assassin Leon Czolgosz. 17'' x 23.5'' ten page newspaper is in very good condition, with light chipping.
