Letter addressed to one Mr. James McConville of Washington, D.C. is dated 15 November 1912 just 10 days after his election as President. Sent from Wilson's address in New Jersey, letter reads, ''My dear Mr. McConville / I want to give myself the pleasure not only of acknowledging your kind telegram of congratulation but of expressing in turn my appreciation of the active and intelligent work you have done. As the leader of the party, I feel that I owe you a direct personal expression of sincere thanks. Cordially yours / [signed] Woodrow Wilson''. Measures 8'' x 9.75''. Toning and creasing. Very good.
