Eisenhower typed letter signed as President, dated 27 April 1959 on official White House stationery. Letter is addressed to Eisenhower's brother, Edgar, and discusses his Secretary of State, John Foster Dulles: ''…It is more than ironic that it took his grave illness to awaken the American people to a true appreciation of his strength and wisdom, particularly in the struggle against Imperialistic Communism…'' Signed boldly, ''D.E.'', letter measures 6.75'' x 9'' on one page with two holes punched at top. Near fine.
