A VICTORIAN SILVER FOUR-PIECE TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE, by John, Edward, Walter and John Barnard (Barnard & Sons Ltd), London 1869, of Adam design, comprising tea pot, coffee pot, cream jug and sugar bowl, each piece with bead rims, applied putto masks linked by repoussé floral swags, engraved with ribbon garlands-over acanthus calyx, leaf capped scroll handles, the tea pot and coffee pot with pineapple finials, on domed foot, tea pot 21.5cm high, coffee pot 30.5cm high, total approximate weight 86oz.
