A John Pearson Newlyn copper chamberstick with embossed salamander style decoration, 33 cm wide including handle x 6 cm high, together with a further embossed copper chamberstick with floral decoration, 20 cm wide including handle x 4.5 cm high
CONDITION REPORTS
Chamberstick 1 - Very dirty and in need of a clean with wax, dust, etc. Areas of the copper are quite shiny where it appears wax has previously dropped and protected from patination. Slightly misshapen and does wobble when placed flat. Some surface scratches, etc evident. General wear and tear conducive with age and use. See images for further detail. Chamberstick 2 - is misshapen and has an area of green verdigris or suchlike to it. Some surface scratching. Otherwise general wear and tear conducive with age and use. See images for further detail.
