A Victorian silver trophy cup with gilt washed interior, the rim with Greek design over a simulated studded medallion inscribed "South Moulton Agricultural Association Champion Challenge Silver Cup given by Old Moultonians and Friends of the District 1899", with oval medallion verso decorated with two Bacchanalian putti amongst grape and vine, flanked by acanthus capped and cable decorated open handles, the base of the cup with acanthus and lotus leaf relief decoration raised on a Greek key and acanthus decorated circular foot, inscribed "Catchpole & Williams, 510 Oxford Street" (by Frederick Elkington, Birmingham 1869), approx 96 oz.
