Parisian accessories of luxury and arts of Asia from China to Thailand mark the October estate sales journey of exciting property. The Jewelry Department often features a variety of quality stones and certified jadeite jade. Select Asian works of art have also been chosen for Michaan's monthly sales, with fine jade carvings, porcelains and scrolls often seen at auction. Commonly held among Fine Art offerings are paintings and sculpture. The Furniture & Decorative Arts section regularly includes period decor and furniture. Highlights for the month of October include an authentic Hermès black crocodile Kelly bag, a spinach jade snuff bottle carved in the form of a cicada, an oil on canvas titled "Bangkok Scene" by Thai artist Kid Kosolawat and an original Malles Goyard steamer trunk. In addition, Michaan's Coin & Stamp Department will feature U.S. and worldwide coins as well as commemorative medals.
