A rare and attractive antique coromandel wood Cabinet on Stand, the inlaid canopy lift top with central inset mirror decorated with various woods and ivory inlay over a body with two inlaid doors which open to reveal a stunning interior with various drawers, and altar like structure with figural ormolu mounts and marble pillars, each drawer with marbled paper linings, the entire inlaid with oyster wood, tortoiseshell and ivory, and with two finely painted miniatures of a nobleman and woman on the verso of each door, the entire on an associated rosewood stand with six barley twist legs, on a box base, approx. 125cms height (49").
