A majolica flat-sided octagonal teapot by Brown-Westhead, Moore & Co c.1885, the dark blue and ochre body with central circle enclosing a pale blue lobed square with moulded shrub decoration on a beige, lined background, the square section spout with similar decoration, with two slab feet, angular handle and oblong canted lid with floral finial, impressed linear star mark to base, 6¾in. (16.5cm.) high, restored, together with a fish shaped majolica teapot in green glaze with lilac fin edges and side curling tail lying in a pale blue sea with a wave breaking over the back forming the handle, the base with impressed Brownfield and lozenge registration marks, c.1870, 7in. (18cm.) long, chipped. (2)
