1940 Diary Covering France and Dunkirk Evacuation green covered Territorial Army diary covering 1940. Hand written entries. Landed in France 21st April 1940, then a day to day entry for where he was stationed and activity. Evacuated from Dunkirk 31st May 1940. Some wear and damage to spine. Together with a transcript from a later diary after he was released from Changi POW camp in 1945. Diary belonged to Sergeant George Scott 9th Batt Northumberland Fus ... Merchant Navy Comforts Service coloured poster ... 2 x Epping Welcome Home Fund posters ... Epping & District Merchant Navy sticker. 5 items.
