1896 Pattern British Cavalry OfficerÕs Sword 34 1/2 inch single edged slightly curved blade. Large fuller. Retailer ground off at forte. Plated steel honeysuckle bowl guard. Checkered backstrap and pommel. Shagreen covered grip with twist wire binding. Contained in its plated steel scabbard with two loose hanging rings. Minor loss to plating. Complete with gilt wire bullion sword knot (minor wear).
