A lady`s Scottish silver mounted purse James Aitchison, Edinburgh 1905, modelled as a sporran, the silver cantle engraved Celtic knots and beasts, set two oval amethysts and a central citrine, the rear engraved `Mrs Musgrove, Botcherby Hall, Carlisle` the leather stamped with thistles and leather tassels, all suspended from a belcher link silver chain The Electoral register for Botcherby Hall shows an Esther and Henry Musgrave resident in 1918
