James Glen, Glasgow circa 1743, four marks; IG twice, S, Town crest oval punch, the teapot of inverted pear shape, the hinged cover with stylised shell and `C` scroll border, mask detail to the leaf clapsed handle, the body with vacant cartouches and further scrolling foliate decoration, the curved spout with floral and scroll clasping and bird`s head for the spout, all raised on a circular stepped foot. 24oz
