LW Auction Services Ltd accepts no liability for any loss or damage caused, misrepresentation, trouble directly, indirectly or whatsoever with items sold or services rendered.

 

All lots are available for viewing prior to auction commencing, via prior appointment. Please contact us for dates and times or check the website.  

 

Full condition reports for each lot/s are provided with corresponding picture/s. These are based on the sellers item/s. They are provided as a guide, in good faith and subject to due diligence. They are intended to help inform buyers, as best as possible, of the condition of the lot/s in question, however they are only a description of lot/s as found, therefore we recommend you view all items before bidding. 

 

All information and grading is provided in good faith and LW Auction Services Ltd cannot be held liable for any misinterpretation or problems caused arising from this.

 

If you place a bid on an item it is legally binding and all goods are sold as seen

 

Sellers commission 10% plus VAT

 

This fee includes insurance from consignment to hammer, however we reserve the right to charge for this service, usually charged at 1.5% plus VAT.

 

The seller must be the owner or have the owners permission to auction the lot/s

 

Two forms of identification and corresponding proof of UK address is also mandatory

Bank transfer

 

 

Collection for all lots won is in person, by appointment only, at our head office in Canterbury, Kent or packaging and national delivery service for all lots won at auction is charged at £20.00 per parcel and insured up to £2500.00 via the Royal Mail Special Delivery service.

 

Export or International delivery. Please contact us to arrange, by separate negotiation. 

 

Terms of payment: In full within 3 working days after auction.  

 

LW Auction Services Ltd withholds the right to cancel, void or not accept any bids at any time.

 

If payment is not received within 7 days post auction. LW Auction Services Ltd reserve the right to charge storage fees of £5.00 per lot per day, plus any reasonable charges incurred by us and 5% interest on the arrears above the current bank of England base rate.

 

Any returned or unpaid cheques are chargeable at £30.00 each plus any reasonable incurred charges, plus interest on the arrears, as above, until the debt is fully satisfied.

 

All lots stored by LW Auction Services Ltd are on the clients behalf (Buyer or Seller) and from consignment to sale and or collection/delivery, are fully insured against fire and theft. However we do not cover damage in our possession, or in transit. Goods are left with us under the clients goodwill for us to publicly view, sell and dispatch the items; all reasonable care is taken, however it must be expected for the lot/s to be handled and in use during such times. We also reserve the right to charge insurance fees, if required (usual charge 1.5%plus VAT)  

 

Items not collected within 7 days of the sale, are no longer under our responsibility and if not collected after a cooling off period of 28 days, can be disposed of at our discretion and the incurred charges, if any, will be passed to the buyer or seller respectively.

 

All information provided by our clients or associates is by consent. We do not share client information other than in accordance with English law and in accordance with the Data protection act 1998.

 

Unsolds lots are automatically offered for resale unless otherwise requested

 

Withdrawal of lot/s from auction will incur nominal £10.00 fee plus VAT, plus any reasonable expenses incurred if there are any. 

However once the auction is live the lots cannot be withdrawn.

 

Payment for all lots sold at auction will be 4– 6 weeks after the sale by bank transfer or cheque
