Postage Terms and Condition
We are aware people may require postage which is why we have recently started offering that service.Unfortunatley we are not able to send any items over a certain size or weight that don't fit Royal Mail tracked criteria. If you are uncertain at any point if a lot can be posted please get in touch with the office and we will be able to confirm this for you.
All items will be packed and sent to the best of our ability. However once these items are handed over to Royal Mail Featonbys Auctioneers are not liable for the items. We are happy to provide a tracking number if they have been sent Special Delivery however any issues within transit is out of our hands. Once payment has been received Featonby’s will take that as you are happy with this and are happy for us to post them off. Packages will start being sent off on a Friday to a Monday so please allow that time before enquiring about the location of your parcel.
If we have declined postage on a lot we can refer you to Mailboxes who can collect pack and post your item or you can get in contact with them on 01912220018. Or we are happy for you to arrange your own carrier. If so they must come to the auction house with your details your paid items will not be released unless that is put in place.We will also require your shipping label. We also ask you are comfortable with the carrier you use as again we are not liable for the items when in transit.
