This beautiful oil painting by the German painter Fritz Meyer shows a stunning view at the lake Chiemsee. Following a little path from the lower mid-edge of the image, the gaze of the spectator is led towards the “Herren- and Fraueninsel”. Both islands are surrounded by many larger and smaller sailing boats. At the background towers a range of mountains with snow covered peaks.

The oil painting is in very good condition with only minor abrasions at its edges, due to a former framing. It is signed lower right “Meyer München”. The overall dimensions are 18 x 24 cm.

Dieses schöne Ölgemälde des deutschen Malers Fritz Meyer zeigt einen großartigen Blick auf den Chiemsee. Einen kleinen Pfad vom unteren, mittleren Bildrand folgend, wird der Blick des Betrachters hin zur Herren- und Fraueninsel geleitet, die von vielen Segelbooten auf dem See umgeben sind. Im Hintergrund erheben sich die Berge mit Schneebedeckten Gipfeln.

Das Ölgemälde ist in einem sehr guten Zustand mit nur leichtem Abrieb an den Kanten, verursacht durch eine ehemalige Rahmung. Es ist unten rechts signiert „Meyer München“. Die Gesamtmaße betragen 18 x 24 cm.
