This expressive painting by Martin Prohaska is demonstrative of his idiosyncratic style of painting; frantic strokes of the brush combine to form an overall calming riverside landscape. There is a countrywoman on the right bank, collecting firewood.

The painting is in very good condition, showing only slight framing marks along the edges. It is signed lower left ‘M. Prohaska’ and measures 60 x 70 cm.

Das Gemälde befindet sich in sehr gutem Zustand mit nur leichtem Abrieb an den Kanten, verursacht durch eine frühere Rahmung. Das Gemälde ist unten links signiert „M. Prohaska“ und misst 60 x 70 cm.
