Very good condition
This small size oil painting depicts a washerwoman by the river. The painted woman is leaning down to wash something in the riverbed located under a large bridge. This painting is held In skilful manière in dark colours, and detailed impressionist-naturalist manner of painting. The image is mounted in a very wide Golden painted wooden frame. The colour surface is varnished. A very impressive piece for its size.
The painting is in good condition with slight age-related signs of wear and use. The frame displays some dirt splashing in the outer rim, and the corners are slightly chipped. The total dimensions are 31 x 26 cm (framed), and 14.8 x 11 cm (wood panel).

Sehr guter Zustand
Dieses kleinformatige Ölgemälde zeigt eine Wäscherin am Fluss. Die dargestellte Frau befindet sich am Flussufer unterhalb einer großen Brücke und beugt sich hinunter zum Wasser um etwas zu waschen. In gekonnter Manière ist dieses Gemälde in dunklen Farben und detailliert impressionistisch-naturalistischer Malweise gehalten. Das Bild ist von einem sehr breiten golden bemalten Holzrahmen eingefasst. Die Farboberfläche ist von einem Firnis überzogen. Eine sehr eindrucksvolle Arbeit für ihre Größe.
Das Gemälde befindet sich in einem guten Zustand mit leichten Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren. Der Rahmen zeigt am äußeren Rand einige Schmutzspritzer und die Ecken sind leicht abgesplittert. Die Gesamtmaße betragen 31 x 26 cm (gerahmt) und 14,8 x 11 cm (Holzpanel).
