This beautiful oil painting by the German painter Karl Schmidbauer shows a spring landscape at the foot of a sunlit mountain range. At a pond, shown at the foreground of the image, stand two colourfully dressed figures underneath a group of tall trees. The painting is executed with dynamic brushstrokes in an almost impressionistic manner.

The oil painting is in very good condition with only minor abrasions at its edges, due to a former framing. It is signed lower left “Schmidbauer”. The overall dimensions are 24 x 18 cm.

Dieses sehr schöne Ölgemälde des deutschen Malers Karl Schmidbauer zeigt eine Frühlingslandschaften zu Füßen eines sonnenbeschienenen Gebirges. An einem Gewässer im Vordergrund des Bildes stehen zwei bunt gekleidete Gestalten unter einer Gruppe, hoher Bäume. Das Bild ist mit dynamischen Pinselstrichen in geradezu impressionistischer Manier geschaffen.

Das Ölgemälde ist in einem sehr guten Zustand mit nur leichtem Abrieb an den Kanten, verursacht durch eine ehemalige Rahmung. Es ist unten links signiert „Schmidbauer“. Die Gesamtmaße betragen 24 x 18 cm.
