It is said that the MG B is the reason why Mazda dared to introduce the small MX-5-Roadster on the world market as of 1990 after the days of the “targa bar era“, because more than half a million units of the MG B, designed by Giovanni Michelotti, were built between 1962 and 1980. The reason was because it allowed elegant, fast and economic traveling. Some 128,653 series units of the MG B Mk2 alone were made between 1974 and 1980.

This MG B Mk2 has a very special history, as it comes from a strictly limited series of 1,000 pieces made in honor of the British queens 25th crown jubilee. 420 roadsters were made in bronze-metallic and 580 MG B GT coupés. But since British Leyland was not doing well financially, Aston Martin helped out and completed the manufacture of the cars made by MG. The flanks are adorned by a special gold decor, it has the chic alloy wheels from the Triumph Stag, an overdrive for 3rd and 4th gear, a larger fuel tank and a radio. This car has only had 4 proven previous owners England, who documented their Silver-Jubeelie-MG well, they also preserved the original condition by cring it more than using it – a second MG B in this quality must be very hard to find - a MUST-HAVE for MG lovers and collectors!

The vehicle has to be paid and collected within 7 business days after the auction. The collection may be made via collection by the costumer or via collection by a transport company. A timely collection can also made via a commissioning of Auctionata to a fee-based transport (flat shipping rate). If the time period lapses without a result, the buyer has to pay storage costs in the amount of 25, - € per day.
