CELINE LOUIS FERDINAND: (1894-1961) French Novelist. Known as Celine, being his real name Destouches, a controversial writer because of his antisemitism. A.L.S., with his real name `Destouches´, two pages, 8vo, n.p., n.d., [1943], to his friend Henri Mahe´s friend, in French. Celine, referring to the black market states `For sure we must hold the 30 kg! I am going to look for the shipment material.. I am thinking in zinc boxes, packed with double paper, the whole into a wood box.. by the railway and in the zinc boxes the butter covered by lettuce. The whole declared as lettuce. I have seen how they do it…Henri is happy is happy , he is doing well..´ Few foxing stains with creases to the upper right corner. F to G £600-900
