G.E. LEWIS & SONS. A 10-BORE BOXLOCK EJECTOR, serial no. 14728, 32in. nitro reproved barrels with raised matt rib, engraved 'G.E. LEWIS & SONS. 32 & 33 LOWER LOVEDAY STREET. BIRMINGHAM.', 3 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 and 3/4 choke, large treble-grip action with side-clips and side-bolsters, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, beaded border engraving with some scrolls, retaining very slight traces of original colour-hardening, 15 1/2in. semi-pistolgrip stock (cracked at hand) with full length comb insert, including 7/8in. wooden extension and 1 1/8in. rubber recoil pad, weight 10lb. 1oz.
