BIRMINGHAM.', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 and full choke, scroll-back action incorporating J. Deeley and L.B. Taylor patent hand-detachable locks, patent no. 17731 of 28th July 1897, use number 176, manual safety, detachable floorplate, bold acanthus scroll engraving, the triggerguard with rabbits, retaining some renewed colour-hardening and finish,14 1/8in. well-figured stock with comb insert, weight 6lb. 7oz.
