A BELGIAN 11X50Rmm 'M1853/67' ALBINI-BRAENDLIN SERVICE RIFLE, serial no. 1740, Dated '1868', with 34 1/2in. barrel sighted to 1,400 metres, the rear-sight with the 1880 Halkin modification, tip-up hinged breech, back-action lock dated for 1860, walnut three-quarter stock (toe of butt cracked and repaired), iron mounts including three spring-held barrel-bands, iron sling mounts, and iron cleaning rod (some discolouration to iron parts).
