MERKEL 12-BORE SINGLE-TRIGGER OVER AND UNDER BOXLOCK EJECTOR SKEET GUN, serial no. 156009, 26in. nitro barrels with 9mm ventilated matt top-rib and ported wooden side-fillets, 2 3/4in. chambers, inverted chokes, hold-open toplever, scroll-back action with side-bolsters, manual safety, cocking-indicators, profusely engraved with bold scrollwork, 14 3/4in. well-figured hogsback pistolgrip stock, ported beavertail fore-end, weight 7lb 6oz., in a vinyl case with plaque engraved 'Dr Peter Kuhner' and with many competition entry stickers dating from 1974 - 1991. The gun was completed in October 1976
