WOLF (SUHL) 9,3X74R SIDELOCK EJECTOR DOUBLE RIFLE, with extra 20-bore shot barrels, serial no. 18181, 25 1/2in. nitro barrels, deeply carved with oak leaves at the breech, with broad, raised matt rib with open sights and ramp-mounted bead foresight, the breech-end mounted with a KAPS Asslar / Wetzlar 1-4x22 telescopic sight in quick-detachable mounts, 27in. 20-bore shot barrels (with individual fore-end) with broad matt rib, deeply carved with oak leaves at the breech, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 and full choke, bolstered treble-grip action with side-clips, gold cocking-indicators and pins, set trigger, manual safety, the whole deeply carved with oak leaf and acorn motifs on a stippled matt background, surrounding vignettes of stag and wild boar on the lockplates, the underside with the trappings of a continental hunter, including hunting horn, hat, knapsack, knife and rifle leaning against an oak tree, all being kept a careful watch over by a hound, blued and silver finish overall, 14 1/2in. figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, sling swivels, engraved ammunition trap, horn pistolgrip-cap and 1/2in. rubber recoil pad, weight 9lb. 10oz. (rifle barrels) and 7lb. (shot barrels). The rifle was completed in February 1990 and the shot barrels in July 1991. It appears little used and comes with its original paperwork and rifle sighting target
