A FINE KRIEGHOFF 'NEPTUN PRIMUS' 8X57JRS / 12-BORE HAND-DETACHABLE SIDELOCK EJECTOR DRILLING, serial no. 75048, 25in. nitro Bohler Antinit-steel monobloc barrels scroll engraved at the breech-ends, with matt sight-rib, flip-up open sights and blade foresight, the breech-ends mounted with a K.Kahles Helia Super telescopic sight in quick-detachable mounts, 2 3/4in. shot barrels, bored approx. 1/2 and full choke, treble-grip action with side-bolsters, carved serpentine fences, hand-detachable pinless sidelocks with concealed flush release lever, gold-washed lockwork, cocking-indicators, manual safety, sprung rifle-barrel selector switch, set trigger, silver finish and bold scroll engraving overall, 15 1/2in. very highly-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, engraved pistolgrip-cap, sling swivels and buttplate, weight 9lb. 11oz. The drilling was completed in June 1975 and represents the highest level of rifle produced by Krieghoff.
