A FINE LUDWIG BOROVNIK (FERLACH) 6.5x57R SINGLE-BARRELLED BOXLOCK NON-EJECTOR DOUBLE RIFLE, serial no. 40.4257, 24 1/2in. nitro octagonal to round barrel with matt sight rib, open sights and ramp-mounted bead foresight, the breech-end mounted with a Carl Zeiss Diavari D 1,5-6x telescopic sight in quick-detachable mounts, scroll-back quadruple-grip action with side-bolsters, pierced toplever, manual safety, gold-washed set trigger, carved and engraved with acanthus scrolls, with gold details, the underside with the portrait of a deer, 14 1/2in. very highly-figured pistolgrip stock with sculpted cheekpiece, engraved and blued pistolgrip-cap, sling swivels and 1/2in. rubber recoil pad, weight 7lb. 12oz. The rifle was completed in December 1979 and appears to be little used
